Scout Motors Summer Camp

For Scout Motors, the challenge was to relaunch more than a vehicle. The brand needed to reawaken a culture rooted in independence, utility, craft, and outdoor self-reliance, while introducing Scout as a new electric vehicle company. The brief was open, so the work had to define its own measure of success: not spectacle, but belief, belonging, and long-term community.

I helped shape Scout Summer Camp, a one-day immersive launch concept built around the idea of Starting a Fire. The experience translated the Scout spirit into a journey of arrival, discovery, making, gathering, and reveal. Guests received a toolbox invitation filled with useful gear, explored a maker’s market and community car showcase, gathered around real campfires, and witnessed the vehicle reveal through barn doors at golden hour. I worked across concept development, experience mapping, spatial layouts, modular structures, content strategy, moodboarding, and key visualizations.

The concept reframed the launch as a cultural gathering rather than a staged announcement. It made Scout feel physical, communal, and deeply rooted, turning the brand’s values into rituals, objects, environments, and moments people could participate in.
