Nespresso Flatiron

Nespresso’s flagship needed to do more than showcase products; it had to make the brand’s premium coffee culture feel immersive, social, and distinctly New York. As the first Nespresso boutique to introduce dedicated experiences such as a lounge and speakeasy-style coffee bar, it marked a shift from product-led retail toward hospitality, discovery, and participation.

I helped design the lower-level lounge and Hidden Cup Coffee Bar, shaping the spatial experience, materiality, furnishings, and atmosphere to express Nespresso’s refined yet welcoming character. Through interior design and visualization, I developed how guests would move, gather, linger, and experience the brand across both intimate and communal settings.

The spaces expanded the boutique into a destination where guests could experience Nespresso through taste, ritual, service, and shared moments. They created a new platform for deeper brand engagement, repeat visits, and a more experiential expression of Nespresso beyond the point of purchase.
